The Preston-Snoqualmie Trail is part of the King County Regional Trails System. It's relatively short, but a beautiful gem, so we'll take it at a Steady Pace. The trail consists of a paved historic railroad route with gentle grades through secluded woodlands, a trestle crossing and exceptional views of the Snoqualmie River Valley. The trail winds its way to a viewpoint overlooking distant Snoqualmie Falls. Directions to the start: Take I-90 east to Exit 22, turn left over the highway and then left on SE High Point Way. The P&R is immediately on the left (see map link above for details). We roll at 10:00 am, so please arrive by 9:45 am to sign the waiver. Restrooms are near the start.
