Why a stolen bike list?

Inspired by BikePortland.org's Stolen Bike Listing as well as some terrific recovery stories, Cascade Bicycle Club decided it was time to help our local bike community network on stolen bikes. Getting the word out when a bike is stolen can make a difference in getting it back.

The Seattle Stolen Bike List kicks off in September, 2006. This is a work in progress, and we thank you for your understanding as this project is launched and refined.
