Cascade Courier Information
Submission Guidelines
If you are interested in writing an article for the Cascade Courier, please contact M.J. Kelly, the Editor, for more information. Editorial calendars are planned in advance and space is limited. Submissions will be considered according to space, timeliness and content. Articles should be submitted via email as a text file attachment. Photos should be submitted as high-resolution (300 dpi) black-and-white EPS files. The Courier editor reserves the right to edit all submissions for clarity, style, or for space reasons. If you attach your name and phone number, we will do our best (conditions permitting) to discuss major changes with you.
Submission Deadline
Articles and other materials for publication are due by the first Tuesday of each month. Items submitted after this date will be considered on a space-available basis. Ride listings are due on the first of the month.
Classified Ads
Classified ads are free to Cascade members only. Bicycling-related ads will be accepted from non-members at no charge. All ad copy MUST include the telephone area code, name, address, telephone number(s) and member number if applicable. Also indicate if the ad is to be included in more than one issue when submitting the copy. Each merchant participating in Cascade's Member Discount Program may place one free ad each month in the classifieds. The ad must be for a specific event or sale and will not be repeated without new copy. Rides and charity events will be listed elswhere. The Courier reserves the right to edit all submissions.
Deadline for all ads is the first Tuesday of the month before publication.

Advertisements
The Courier accepts advertisements. Contact M.J. Kelly or download a copy of our advertisement spec sheets (PDF).
Inserts
A fee of $250 per insert will be charged. Return the completed form, accompanied by a check and a copy of the insert by the 1st of the month prior to the targeted issue. Insert copy must be approved by Cascade. Upon notification of acceptance, the fee becomes non-refundable. For information and/or an application form and copy of Cascade's Insert Policy, contact:

Reprints
Material in the Courier may be reprinted or abstracted in publications of nonprofit groups provided that the author/artist, Cascade Bicycle Club, and the Courier are credited. Cascade Bicycle Club should be provided with a copy of any publication in which such material is reprinted.
